The Greys Prowla range of Lure/Spin rods enables you to pick from and choose a desired length and casting weight depending on the type of fish and fishing situation you wish to approach. All the rods are manufactured from ultra high modulus carbon providing super slim and well balanced blanks with a smooth middle to tip action. They possess excellent dampening capabilities helping you to avoid hook pulls on the strike or when playing a fish, while the braid safe under slung tip ring will prevent wrap-around and line shear during the cast. A soft touch Fuji DPS reel seat is accompanied by Fuji black hoods, with a screw down front handle allowing you to tighten and lock your reel in position with supreme confidence.

Greys Prowla Lure/Spin Rods

This lightest rod in the Prowla jerk bait range is made from an ultra slim carbon fibre blank, ideal for casting weights up to 50g. It’s sensitive in the tip without compromising on strength and hook setting ability and possesses enough power to let you handle bigger predators. The extra guides and new spacing keeps braid away from the blank when playing a fish, whilst its finely balanced action from middle to tip is perfect for all-day short range work with small jerk baits and spoons. It will handle 20-40lb braid and is so light in weight you will feel as if you are fishing with a wand. The cork handle is protected by a Duplon butt to prevent wear and tear.

Greys Prowla Light Jerk Bait Rod 6ft

The butt handles on many jerk bait rods are too short causing the rod to feel heavy at its casting pivot point, which in turn increases the stress placed on your arm and wrist. Greys have allowed for a slightly longer butt which not only balances the rod in your hand but gives you the ability to grasp the end of the butt when punching out heavier baits. It’s best suited for casting weights up to 80g and has an ideal braid rating of 30-50lb. It’s a tip action rod which allows you to fish baits with very little effort – just a twitch of the tip will make a jerkbait or crankbait dance. This rod will easily set the hooks and has the backbone to steer predators away from snags. It can be used either on the bank or from a boat, in still or running water, and is a super all-rounder. Greys Prowla Medium Jerk Bait Rod 6ft

The most powerful of the 6ft jerk rods in the range will comfortably punch out any lures upto the stated casting weight allowing you to fish large jerk baits, bulldawgs, twin tails and crank baits with ease. It’s fantastic for both casting and trolling from a boat and will easily cope with 60-80lb braid. This top quality carbon blank has a tip action and is fitted with 8 SIC rings, which includes an underslung tip ring to avoid wrapovers. If you are fortunate enough to hook a monster in the deep this rod will soon tame it to the surface.

If you prefer an all round jerk bait rod then look no further than the 6ft6 Greys Prowla Power Jerk which has been designed specially to transfer the action from the rod to the lure with ease and is perfect for fishing with medium to heavy jerkbaits. This rod punches out lures with ease and yet at the same time sets the hooks at any distance. It is a very versatile rod – ideal for casting and retrieving lures from boats but also good for bank fishing. This is a tip action rod capable of carrying braid up to 100lb breaking strain

Greys Prowla Power Jerk bait Rod 6.5ft

The Greys Prowla Supa Jerk Bait rod is ideal for bank fishing on still or running waters as the extra length and slightly extended butt handle give you greater control when punching out heavier lures. Don’t dismiss this rod for boat fishing either as the 7ft length helps to keep fish away from anchor ropes, drogues and the boat engine. This super light carbon blank has a tip action that is stiff enough to give a good swimming action to your lure yet is soft enough to absorb an aggressive take from a hungry predator. The rod balances beautifully when fitted with a multiplier reel and will work perfectly whether you are fishing with lures, spinner baits, buck tails, crank baits, soft plastics or jerk baits. This Prowla 11ft rod is the lightest in the range, it's through action and 2.25lb test curve making it a perfect short to medium range pike or zander rod, ideal for trotting on a river or lobbing a bait off a reservoir dam wall. As with the rest of the Prowla range it is designed from high spec carbon, has 9 SIC rings and a slim cork handle with a flared Duplon butt to avoid the rod sliding forward out of the back rest. It has the power to cast a sardine and 2oz lead 40 metres with ease, and makes the hooking and playing of a pike - whatever the size - just good fun. It's an absolute delight! If you do hook a big predator there is enough reserve power to successfully land it. Don't overlook this rod for eel fishing either!

Greys Prowla Bait Rod 11ft 2.25lb

The 12ft Prowla 3lb test curve is the ultimate pike rod. Made from high modulus carbon its smooth tip to butt through action provides plenty of power for casting live or dead baits medium to long range, and for setting hooks, but will give if a pike lunges away as you are about to net it, thus avoiding hook pulls. It's fitted with 9 SIC rings, including a braid safe underslung tip guide and a Greys reel seat that's large enough to cope with pit reels. As with all 2 piece rods in the Prowla range it folds exactly in half, ring to ring, to enable easy set up and take down on the bank, and is fitted with a keeper ring and run clip, plus traditional slim cork handle with flared Duplon butt protector. This rod is the big brother to the 12ft 3lb test curve. If you might potentially fish at distance then this is the rod for you. It's an incredible tool for drifter fishing with its 3.5lb test curve, yet retains its smooth through action allowing you to set hooks into big pike at 100 metres. It balances nicely with big pit reels and can easily handle 30 to 50lb braid. This rod is capable of launching a good sized mackerel and a 3oz lead a long distance! You'll discover it has plenty of power to steer large pike away from snags, whilst at the same time it will give to cushion any powerful lunges, allowing you the confidence you need when playing that prize fish. Greys Prowla Bait Rod 12ft 3.5lb

This Prowla 10ft 6ins boat rod has been designed from high spec carbon to give an ultra slim but powerful blank. It has nine SIC braid safe rings large enough to cope with stop knots and heavy lines. The rod folds exactly in half, ring to ring, for easy setting up and packing away, whilst the slim cork handle with non-slip duplon grip will sit neatly in a boat rest. This rod lends itself for use with either a fixed spool or multiplier reel, and is a superb all-round boat rod for drifter, trolling or dead bait fishing. Ideal on lochs, lakes, rivers, broads or reservoirs it will allow you to hook and hold big fish in deep water yet, on the other hand, has a fantastic through action that allows you to fish close to the boat on a shallow broad or in a weedy bay. This 7' Prowla Drop Shot rod is made from an ultra fine carbon fibre blank with a sensitive, tip action. 9 SIC rings, including a braid safe underslung tip guide, with carefully worked spacing's mean that this rod will fold perfectly together from tip to butt with the 2 largest guides being perfectly aligned, thus allowing for quick ‘put together' or ‘take apart' of the made up rod whilst you are on the water. The unique Greys D-Tecta reel seat lets you trap the braid against the blank giving enhanced bite detection, and the cork handle has been ergonomically designed with two 45 degrees edges to allow for either a left or right forearm to sit perfectly against it when you are feeling for takes. The special keeper ring lets you clip up the drop shot lead when not fishing and a rubber cork butt protects the end of the blank from inevitable bumps and bangs.

This 9' drop shot rod perfectly complements the range allowing this popular method to be practised from the bank as well as the boat. Like all other 2 piece rods in the Prowla range it will fold perfectly together from tip to butt with the 2 largest guides being perfectly aligned. The ergonomically designed cork handle has been extended slightly giving greater control on the bank, whilst the rubber cork butt piece protects the end of the blank from general wear and tear during normal fishing. The unique Greys D-Tecta reel seat lets you trap the braid against the blank giving enhanced bite detection and a drop shot keeper ring allows for safe storage of the lead when you are not fishing.
